What to Expect When you Work with Baril
Rather than simply return a quote, our team will take proactive steps to review your design for design intent, manufacturability and other critical outcomes. If needed, we will also help you address other considerations, from regulatory issues to intellectual property. At Baril, we call this "thinking bigger than the part".
If your project is a straightforward "build-to-print" request, it will be expedited through a streamlined process.
5 steps to a perfect die cutting project
-
A Baril representative will discuss your project with you, addressing
your technical, commercial and other requirements. We will also learn about how you plan to use the product after Baril has finished processing.
-
Baril's engineering group will review your drawings, material
specifications, volume requirements, application environment and post-processing steps to determine the most suitable process solution for your product. We will identify and recommend refinements to improve manufacturability, reduce material waste and enhance the final functionality of the product.
Baril believes it is essential to assess your part comprehensively at this early stage. By applying our engineering and processing knowledge, we know we can help you avoid costly problems down the road.
At this stage, Baril will also evaluate which of our full range of die cutting, laser cutting, CNC cutting and other technologies will deliver the best technical and financial outcome for you.
-
Baril will build a detailed quotation including the tooling and production
aspects of the project.
-
Once you approve the program, Baril will assign a production engineer
to act as the guardian for your project, with responsibility for all technical aspects of the project and your ultimate satisfaction.
-
Once in production, we will review the program with you and
communicate regularly. We will seek your feedback and learn from it. Baril will also strive to proactively recommend process improvements that could help improve your business situation and competitiveness.
